Job Description of Academic Officer:

· Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of academic programs.

· Provide professional development opportunities for faculty.

· Address student academic concerns and grievances.

· Conduct orientation and convocation sessions.

· Planning of new course outline and new timetable.

· Reporting on daily academic activity and submitting to the Director.

· Assembled a team of batch advisors to solve problems of students regarding their subject.

· Perform activities, communication, and announcement within the department.

· Motivates the students regarding their studies and careers.

· Coordination to conduct interviews for faculty or staff.

· Coordination with QEC for departmental activity yearly.

· Coordination with the Admission Office, Registrar Office, Examination Office and Treasurer or any other offices as required to support the institution`s mission.

· Acting as student Advisor as directed.

· Setup appointments for meetings with parents, students and other individuals.

· Follow up on all initiatives taken by the Director daily.

· Any other related matter as directed by Management.

· Manage the Calls.

· Managing online Registration.

· Resolve student`s issues/complaints regarding academics.

· Maintain records/files/minutes of meetings/reports.

· Hand-on practice in Excel:

i. Data sorting, charts.

ii. Conditional formatting, data sorting.

iii. Data selection, formulas and functions.

· Foster partnerships with externa organizations for academic collaborations.

· Ensure alignment with educational standards and goals.
