Importance of justice in judicial rulings

Former Chief Justice Saqib Nisar graced a seminar at Minhaj University Lahore's School of Law, highlighting the paramount importance of justice in judicial rulings. Alongside Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Sajid Mahmood Shahzad, Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Registrar Dr. Khurram Shahzad, and Associate Dean Dr. Usman Hamid, Justice Nisar emphasized the duty of judges to prioritize justice above personal interests, fears, and greed. He stressed that justice is the cornerstone of societal progress and urged the younger generation to uphold this principle.
Justice Nisar commended Minhaj University's state-of-the-art infrastructure and its contribution to Islamic education, crediting Sheikh-ul-Islam Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. He expressed pride in his affiliation with the institution, which he sees as a beacon for guiding future generations.
The seminar concluded with Prof. Shahzad presenting a shield of honor to Justice Nisar. Subsequently, Justice Nisar met with Deputy Chairman Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, who presented him with various books authored by himself on different subjects.
