Incubated Startups of Cohort-2

The Minhaj Center for Startups organized a training session for the incubated startups of Cohort 2, on "Comprehensive Market Research and Target Audience Identification: Key Strategies for Startup Success." Dr. Abdul Wahab, PhD in Entrepreneurship, Assistant Professor at the School of Management, FAST NUCES, Islamabad, and an ILO-SIYB Trainer conducted the session.
Dr. Wahab covered the importance of market research for startups, provided an overview of market research methods, and explained the significance of defining the target audience. He introduced tools and techniques for audience identification, primary research methods such as surveys, interviews, and focus groups, and secondary research methods involving existing market reports and industry data. Additionally, Dr. Wahab engaged in individual discussions with the startups to address specific questions and offer tailored advice.
The session was highly successful, with participants learning valuable new market research techniques. The event concluded with Dr. Umber Noreen, Director of ORIC, presenting a souvenir to the guest speaker.
