A seven-day sports week held under the banner of Minhaj University Lahore came to an end. The event was attended by over 100 male and female students. 12 female cricket teams took part in the sporting events. Former cricketing greats, Abdul Qadir, Abdul Razzaq and Sana Mir, former captain of Pakistan Women Cricket Team gave away the prizes and shields to the winning team and the best performing cricketers.
Addressing a special ceremony held in the honour of old Minhajians and bright students of Minhaj University Lahore, Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that human beings live as long as they breathe whereas the institutions stay for good. He said that institutions whether they are educational, democratic or that of state are the strong pillars of moral, political, spiritual and economic values of any society.
A special ceremony marking the 67th birthday of Chairman PAT Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri was held in Minhaj University Lahore. Addressing the ceremony, Deputy Chairman Board of Governors, MUL, Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that the founding leader of MQI and Chairman PAT set up wonderful educational institutions for education and moral training of the succeeding generations. He said that he rendered exemplary services for promotion of peace and knowledge for the humanity.
A conference on the subject of “Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) As a Role Model for the Business World” was held under the joint banner of Mir Khalil-ur-Rehman Memorial Society and Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMA Pakistan) on March 15 in Lahore. Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, President of MQI and Deputy Chairman of Board of Governors of Minhaj University, participated in the conference and delivered a speech there.
