Tour to The National Archive of Pakistan

A one-day tour to The National Archive of Pakistan was organized, led by Madam Ammara Maqsood Qadri (Secretary Seekers Club) of Minhaj University Lahore, Sir Talha Riaz Assistant Director (Administration department), along with other faculty members and students. Upon arrival, the MUL delegation was warmly welcomed by Dr.Mazhar Saeed, who provided an informative briefing about the National Archive.

Dr.Mazhar Saeed, Director National Archive of Pakistan covered the history, significance, and operations of the National Archive. He explained how the archive preserves important historical documents and artifacts, making them accessible for research and educational purposes. His insights offered a deeper understanding of the role and importance of national archives in preserving a nation’s heritage.

The one-day tour proved to be extremely informative, providing participants with a greater appreciation of the National Archive’s critical function in preserving the nation’s history. The visit highlighted the meticulous processes involved in archiving and the importance of such institutions in maintaining the integrity of historical records.
