Workshop on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

A training workshop on "Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)" was organized by the Center of Research and Innovation in Maritime Affairs (CRIMA) at Minhaj University Lahore. The event featured speakers such as Prof. Dr. Sajid Mahmood Shahzad, Vice Chancellor of Minhaj University Lahore, Dr. Nusrat Ehsan, Head of the SDGs Lab, and Asim Mahmood, Head of the Career Management Cell, Lahore Business School. Dr. Nusrat Ehsan highlighted the need for inclusive workplaces and emphasized that education, health, and a safe environment are essential for achieving SDGs. She urged the inclusion of SDGs in Pakistan's national curriculum. In his closing remarks, Prof. Dr. Sajid Mahmood Shahzad thanked the guest speakers for participating. He stressed the importance of collective efforts from both government and private sectors for Pakistan’s sustainable development. The workshop saw significant attendance from faculty members and students from various university departments.
