Job Description:
1. Edit raw footage to produce high-quality videos for various university projects, including promotional videos, educational contect, event coverage, and more.
2. Utilize non-linear editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) to assemble footage, add music, sound effects, and graphics, and ensure a polished final product.
3. Work closely with the Media Production team, including videographers and Media Lab Coordinator, to understand project requirement and deliver on creative objectives.
4. Collaborate with content creators, faculty, and other administrator offices and schools to achieve the desired visual storytelling outcomes.
5. Ensure video content meets university quality, style, and brand consistency standards.
6. Review and refine edits based on feedback from administrator offices and schools, making necessary adjustments to achieve the desired results.
7. Organize and manage digital media assets, including video files, graphics and sound elements.
8. Maintain an organized and efficient workflow to streamline the editing process.
9. Stay updated on industry trends, advancement in non-linear editing software, and emerging technologies to enhance editing capabilities.
10. Troubleshoot technical issues related to editing software, hardware, and file formats.
11. Provide training and support to team members and students involved in video production, ensuring a consistent understanding of editing workflows and techniques.
